Dickie Jeeps Award

The Dickie Jeeps Award is a prestigious annual youth rugby accolade presented by Cambs RFU. Named after the legendary Northampton Saints, England captain, and British & Irish Lions scrum-half Dickie Jeeps, it recognises outstanding young rugby talent transitioning out of mini and youth systems into elite pathways.

The award celebrates Dickie Jeeps, a Cambridgeshire local who became one of England’s most capped scrum-halves and an RFU President. He captained England 13 times, and his twenty-four caps remained a record for an England scrum-half for twenty years, until Steve Smith surpassed it.
